Registration
All Continuing Education registration takes place in the office of Continuing Education
Lower Level, French Building, 148 Concord Street.
Open: Monday-Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm.
The office is closed on Institute holidays.

The Continuing Education Registration office is responsible for monitoring student registration and records, class schedules, Certificate graduation clearance, and other related matters. Questions regarding Continuing Education grades and transcripts should be directed to the Continuing Education Coordinator, Diane Vesci, at dvesci@nhia.edu.

Registration Policies
You may call the Continuing Education Office, mail, fax, or walk-in a registration form. We accept the following credit cards: MasterCard, VISA, Discover, and American Express. All class tuition and fees must be paid in full at the time of registration. There is a non-refundable $20 registration fee for all students each term, providing these students with a student ID card and parking sticker for the academic year.
Students are responsible for purchasing required course supplies.

Early Registration
To avoid class cancellation, please register early.

Second Choice Option
While it is our every intention to register you for your first choice, your class selection may become full or cancelled. Listing a second choice under the Second Choice option on the registration form enables us to automatically attempt to register you for requested courses in the most efficient manner.

Official Withdrawal
Withdrawal from a course must be made in writing to the Continuing Education Coordinator, Diane Vesci or emailed to dvesci@nhia.edu. Notification to an instructor is not an acceptable withdrawal. Not attending a class does not constitute an official withdrawal.

Refunds
If dropped 7 Days prior to the 1st class meeting, 100% refund of tuition and fees.
If dropped prior to 2nd class meeting, 50% refund of tuition and fees.
If dropped after the 2nd class meeting, 0% regardless of circumstances
(Please note that registration fee is non-transferable.)
There is no pro-rating of tuition for partial class attendance.
All refunds are mailed directly to the student in check form or are credited back to student's credit card approximately one month after withdrawal and/or class cancellation. Please Note: A $25 Fee will be charged for checks returned for insufficient funds. This is necessary due to bank and administrative costs incurred by the Institute.

Cancellations
Any course with less than the required six registrations will be cancelled four days prior to the start of the class. Cancellations will be directly communicated to students at this time. The Instructor is responsible for rescheduling missed classes due to inclement weather or due to teacher illness. A make up class may be scheduled during the regular class session or at a time agreed upon by group consensus.

Student ID Cards
For the safety and security of our students, equipment and facilities, all students must carry an Institute Student ID card while on Institute premises. All students will be issued an ID card as part of their term registration fee, which allows for studio use, library-borrowing privileges, a 10% discount on all student supplies in the Camera Shop and Art Supply Store, as well as free admission to Currier Art Museum. Students must obtain a non-photo ID from the Continuing Education Coordinator.

Parking Stickers
Parking stickers are required for all registered students at the Institute. Students who register by phone, fax and mail will have their parking stickers mailed to them. All others pick up a form in the Continuing Education Office. Parking stickers are good for one academic year. Please note that this sticker does not guarantee parking in our lots, it is used for monitoring purposes only.

Materials Lists
Please check the course schedule for material lists under each course description.
