the 2009 fall semester dean's list at the New Hampshire

8th ANNUAL MINUMENTAL AT THE NEW HAMPSHIRE INSTITUTE OF ART

MANCHESTER, NH - The New Hampshire Institute of Art is
holding it's 8th Annual Minumental exhibition from January
27 to March 1, 2010 on display at the French Building
Gallery, 148 Concord Street. An opening reception and award
ceremony will be held on January 28, 2010 from 12pm - 1pm in
the gallery. Sales begin the same day at 12:30 pm.

MANCHESTER, NH - Illustrator Josh Neufeld will be giving a
public presentation on his work and his New York Times
best-selling illustrated reportage book, "A.D: New Orleans
After the Deluge," at the New Hampshire Institute of Art on
January 21, 2010 from 5:30 to 7:00 pm in the French Building
Auditorium, 148 Concord Street.

GOVERNOR TO SPEAK AT GRAND OPENING OF INSTITUTE’S “GREEN” BUILDING

MANCHESTER, NH - The New Hampshire Institute of Art will be
holding a grand opening reception to celebrate the
completion of the "green" renovation and addition to the
historic, 88 Lowell Street building. Governor John Lynch is
scheduled to speak at the event on December 9, 2009 at 5:30
pm, 88 Lowell Street, Manchester. Governor Lynch, Mayor
Frank Guinta, city officials, Institute alumni and special
guests of the Institute are invited to attend the event.

NEW HAMPHSIRE INSTITUTE OF ART STUDENTS PROVIDE ART EDUCATION FOR ST. BENEDICT ACADEMY

MANCHESTER, NH - This fall the Institute's Art Education
program partnered with St. Benedict Academy in Manchester to
create an eight-week art curriculum for pre-kindergarten
through eighth grade students. The goal of the program is to
give Institute students pursuing a degree in art education,
an opportunity to practice teaching while providing students
at St. Benedict Academy exposure to creativity and lessons
in art. The program began on October 14 and comes to a close
on December 2, 2009.

AIANH AT THE NEW HAMPSHIRE INSTITUTE OF ART

MANCHESTER, NH - The New Hampshire Chapter of the American
Institute of Architects (AIANH) is exhibiting its 2009 AIANH
Awards submissions at the New Hampshire Institute of Art.
The exhibition is scheduled to run from December 7, 2009 to
January 15, 2010 in the French Building Gallery, 148 Concord
Street.

LIFE WORKS OF CHINESE ARTIST, FAN TCHUNPI, AT THE NEW HAMPSHIRE INSTITUTE OF ART

exhibit Chinese artist Fan Tchunpi's (1898-1986) work from
December 7, 2009 to January 21, 2010 at the Amherst Street
Gallery, 77 Amherst Street. The Opening Reception will be
held on December 7, 2009 from 5 pm to 7pm.
