Fan Tchunpi

Chinese artist Fan Tchunpi (1898-1986) studied European painting at Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris. She returned to China to pass on European techniques and to learn the Chinese technique of painting with ink and color on paper. Tchunpi's artwork became a union of the artistic traditions of East and West. This exhibition will include photographs, artifacts and artwork from the life of Fan Tchunpi wonderfully curated by her son, Meng Chi Tsen and daughter-in-law Sue Francis.
