The New Hampshire Institute of Art is a vibrant community of visual artists working together in a supportive and challenging environment. Students are engaged in a dialogue of learning that is filled with both passion and professionalism. We are an institution that is focused in our philosophy and dedicated to the expression of the individual. An art education that is truly complete is the result of an environment that encourages the growth of fundamental skills, while supporting experimentation as the basis for making art. This results in extraordinary achievement and personal growth for each student.

At the New Hampshire Institute of Art, students are appropriately challenged by a rigorous program in which they acquire knowledge, develop technique and realize their potential as artists and contributing members of society. As an institution of higher learning we are dedicated to advancing the importance of art, in all forms, as an integral part of a robust society.
